The Annual Washougal Youth Art Month's Photo Contest

Sponsored by the Washougal Arts and Cultural Alliance

Now is your chance to share what makes Washougal such a special place to live.  In conjunction with Washougal Youth Arts Month, WACA is inviting Washougal students in grades K-12 to grab their smartphone or digital camera and share through photography the beauty of Washougal… its rivers, people, places and things that are uniquely Washougal.  Have fun and be creative!

This work will be shared with the community through WACA’s website and Facebook pages.  Selected photos, submitted before March 2, will be included in a digital show at the WYAM Gallery March 5-7 at Washougal Town Square in downtown Washougal.

Submissions Requirements

Open to all K-12 grade students in the Washougal School District.

Digital uploads only. Images minimum size 500KB and maximum 3MB in JPEG format.

Students may submit their very favorite image (1). Images will be post on WACA website, WACA FB page and selected images will be displayed electronically at the WYAM Gallery.

Students are encouraged to submit an Artist Statement describing what inspired them and feelings they hope to evoke.

Photographs may be submitted at any time through March 31, 2020, but only those received before March 2, 2020 will be a part of the Gallery show.
